ASTM A519Gr4130 belongs to Cr-Mo series medium carbon quenched and tempered steel, with high yield strength and tensile strength, and good notch toughness. The material has a high carbon content, and its hardenability and temper softening resistance can be improved by adding Cr, Mo, and other elements in an appropriate amount. Through chemical composition and simulation tests, it is found that the steel is prone to cracks or heat-affected zone embrittlement during welding.
